As any homeowner knows, there are always projects to be done to repair or change what is well used or outdated. With this in mind we ask for your support of St. Joseph Restore & Renovate fund as you consider your end-of-year donation plans.
Have you seen the new pergola over our grotto? It's thanks to the Eagle Scout project of Kevin Palczynski. Isn't it beautiful! Thanks to your generosity Mary and Joseph are now being repaired at Marion Restoration! Click Here for the latest update on the restoration and stay tuned for news of their celebratory return!
Ever notice flashing spotlights at Mass? It's the alert that a light (now obsolete) needs to be replaced. Looking up you'll notice how few remain. Now that funding is complete, work to update our spotlights will begin the first week of February!
Did you know we are renovating the lower level of the rectory to be a suite for a priest? This includes constructing a bedroom, bathroom and den.
The rectory kitchen is also small and outdated. New cabinets, countertops and floorplan will be completed to make the area more usable and functional. With 60% of our goal reached, we are working on permits with the Vilage of Downers Grove.
You are our St. Joseph Parish Community and we are blessed by your generous support! We are here to serve and celebrate together as one Body in Christ. Thank you for your prayerfully consideration as we continue to work and pray together through our patron, Saint Joseph.
