OUR MISSION

At St. Joseph Parish, our mission is to:

• Inspire a deep relationship and a lifelong love of God, and commitment to the teachings of Jesus Christ through the direction of the Holy Spirit.

• Nurture spiritual growth and moral development in a supportive community.

• Build a foundation of faith experientially by engaging in project-based age-appropriate religious education.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Our K-6 Religious Education program offers:

FAITH FORMATION CLASSES: 

Experiential project-based Interactive and engaging lessons that cover key aspects of Catholic faith, Catholic spirituality and practice for children from kindergarten- Prayer Class I through 6th Grade – Consecration Class, and parents and guardians. 

SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION: 

Comprehensive preparation for the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. Completion of 1st Grade Prayer Class II is a prerequisite to attending 2nd Grade First Holy Communion Class.

COMMUNITY BUILDING: 

Opportunities for families to come together in faith through parish events, retreats, pious and social activities.

SERVICE PROJECTS: 

Encouraging children to live out their faith by serving others in the community. This is a requirement from 3rd Grade – Rosary Class, 4th Grade- Bible Class, 5th Grade- Holy Mass Class and 6th Grade – Consecration Class.

CLASS SCHEDULE: 

We offer two choices of class times to fit your family’s schedule:

• Sundays: 10:00-11:00 a.m.

• Thursdays: 4:00-5:15 p.m.
