Who better to ask for good weather on the day of our May Crowning than our Blessed Mother!
Do you have a statue of Mary? Does the thought of crowning her on a beautiful May evening make you smile? Are you, your children or grandchildren excited to bring her flowers? Then maybe place Mary in a window, face her toward St. Joseph's until May 7, offer a simple prayer and ask her for a beautiful day.
The entire St. Joseph Parish Family and especially our 2nd & 8th grade families are invited to join in honoring our Blessed Mother through The Holy Mass, prayer and crowning of the Queen of all Mothers!
2nd Graders:
Mary is the Queen of Heaven, but was first the Mother of her son Jesus. As a Queen she deserves a crown of great beauty, and as a Mom, nothing is more beautiful than a flower picked with love by her children (of all ages).
Teaching our hearts to love our Heavenly Mother in a tangible way will help us to better love her son as intimately as she does.
We invite you to bring a flower to present to Mary at our May Crowning. It's not about where it's from, but about who it's for - our Intercessor, our Queen, our Mother. Click the image below to learn more...
