Six sessions, 10-11:30 am Sundays, Ministry Room May 18, 25, June 1, 8, 15, 22
Grieving is a natural response to loss that affects the body, mind, heart, and soul. It is a sacred process that is unique to each person, but there are common characteristics. You are invited to lighten the burdens of your loss as you learn practical ways designed to assist you in beginning to heal with time, hope, and God's grace. Come share your story, listen to others’ stories, and honor memories of your loved one.
This is a small (8 participants), confidential and safe ministry group – not a therapy group – facilitated by Jane Indreika, Certified Grief Educator, retired geriatric social worker and parishioner. We will be using the book, Grieving: A Spiritual Process for Catholics by Paula Kosin, a local licensed clinical professional counselor.
There is no cost, but you must register. Because this is meant to be a community of trust, we ask that you commit to all six sessions.
Is this the right time for you, or do you know of someone who might benefit? Please call the parish office at 630-964-0216.
