In his brief time at St. Joseph's, Fr. John has been a source of joy, faith, inspiration and support to our parish while still serving the diocese through his ministry to the deaf.

I am Fr. Nestor Lopez. I was born in Cali - Colombia. I have a degree in pastoral theology from Bogotá, Colombia. I am the second of four brothers. My younger brother died when he was 15 years old, and I was 16 at the same time; now I have a brother, a sister, and my mother, my father, who passed away two years ago.
I am 54 years old, 24 years ordained as a religious priest. I have belonged to a religious community called La Inmaculada Concepción for 32 years, and now I am in the process of being incardinated in this diocese of Joliet. Read more...

The bishops of the United States of America have begun the National Eucharistic Revival, a multi-year process of encounter with our Eucharistic Lord in the Blessed Sacrament through worship and study in preparation for a massive evangelization effort. The diocesan phase is well underway and the parish phase begins on Corpus Christi 2023.
